Chinese netizens have reportedly got their knickers in a twist over a video of a Western girl swinging around like a monkey on the MTR in Hong Kong. No, it’s not because of the obvious safety issues, but because no one seems to give a shit.
According to a report translated from hk.on.cc, internet users in 'China proper' are using the video as proof of Hongkongers' bias towards Caucasians and against mainlanders.
As well as commenting on the girl’s stature and appearance, they reprimand the two local-looking men in the background who seem unaffected by the acrobatics, and say that if a mainlander did the same, there would be outrage.
