Charice Pempengco was reported willing to undergo a sex change operation. The Filipina beautiful singer who is more famous as Charice recently came out to the world, which was, of course, surprising. Charice was firstly welcomed by the world through her amazing singing ability in YouTube. Later, the ‘Pyramid’ hit maker released two international albums, which are ‘Charice’ in 2010 and ‘Infinity’ in 2011. Charice is also well-known for her role as Sunshine Corazon in television series ‘Glee’.

Charice who came out in June 2013 stated that she did not want to undergo a sex change operation although she admitted that her soul was ‘a male’.
Apparently, the reports telling that Charice Pempengco was willing to undergo a sex change operation were false. Attending Oprah Winfrey’s ‘Oprah: Where Are They Now’ at OWN channel last Sunday, 19th of October 2014 as guest, Charice revealed that she did not intend to go through sex change operation although she had come out as a lesbian. To Oprah, the 22-year-old ‘Infinity’ singer said that what she would change were only her hairstyle and the clothes she wore which were more tomboyish.
In that show, besides claiming that she was not willing to undergo a sex change operation, Charice also shared her story on her struggle before coming out. Confessing that she began to feel her current sexual orientation at her 5, Charice believed that her soul was ‘like male’. On the night of her coming out, Charice had thought of losing her career and fans for her decision to come out.
However, she believed that her family would eventually accept her decision. After her father murdered in 2011, Charice had a hard time since her mother Racquel was very angry for her decision to come out. Fortunately, everything turns well now. Charice is happy for her mother had accepted her girlfriend Alyssa Quijano and they are best friends.
